Heartbreak

We should never fear heartbreak, and after so many breaks we can but hope that our hearts appear less like wrecked scrap and more like stained glass windows. Only the light that compassion brings is capable of making such dark scars transparent and beautiful.

    i suppose some could interpret this as "jaded" but i think most love ends in heartbreak of some sort. i think i just admit to myself going into situations that i am going to be willing to keep my heart open, and willing to have it hurt, so it can be as good as it is...

    i do a lot of loving "in the now" tho, lol... haven't been able to figure out the longer-term commitment stuff. price of being a gypsy i guess.
